Sintered titanium filter elements
Titanium porous elements can use sintered powder or a bonded metal-fiber structure, with different pore networks, support requirements and mechanical behavior. This page keeps powder filtration grades separate from tube dimensions, fiber-felt construction and plate geometry. Select the required function first: particle retention, flow distribution or another defined process task. Then compare fluid composition, cleaning chemistry, temperature, flow and the available pressure budget. The reference tables describe material and construction options; they do not establish sterilizing performance or compatibility with every liquid. Confirm the material specification, end fittings, acceptance method and complete assembly for the intended installation.

Sintered titanium cartridge forms
Porous titanium cartridges combine a sintered wall with a fitting selected for the filter housing. Material compatibility depends on the actual medium, concentration, temperature and cleaning chemistry. A micron grade alone does not establish sterilizing performance.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| YS-TI-001 | 1 | 5 | 6 | 2.5 |
| YS-TI-003 | 3 | 7 | 12 | 2.5 |
| YS-TI-006 | 6 | 10 | 40 | 2.0 |
| YS-TI-010 | 10 | 14 | 90 | 2.0 |
| YS-TI-020 | 20 | 32 | 200 | 1.5 |
| YS-TI-035 | 35 | 52 | 450 | 1.5 |
| YS-TI-060 | 60 | 85 | 650 | 1.5 |
Titanium Gr1 (TA1), Ti ≥ 99.5 %; porosity approx. 30–40 %. Air permeability and strength are reference values, not guaranteed minima; strength is an external-pressure (collapse) value, not a working ΔP. Finer grades down to 0.22 µm nominal on request (a nominal grade, not a sterilizing-filtration claim). Rod/cartridge OD 14, 20, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70 mm; L up to 1500 mm. Max. 280 °C in air.
Reference values only; final specifications are confirmed for each custom order.

| Material (model) | OD, mm | Length, mm | Rating range, µm | Max. media temperature (oxidizing / inert) | Max. working ΔP, MPa (reference) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Gr1 (YS-TI) | 14–150 | 20–1500 | 0.22–60 | 280 °C / — | 0.6 |
Standard 316L OD: 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 140 mm. End fittings: thread, flange, socket, quick-connect, welded caps. Temperatures are limits of the porous material; assembled elements are limited by seals and joints. Working ΔP is not the same as the external-pressure (collapse) strength.
Reference values only; final specifications are confirmed for each custom order.

| Material (model) | Rating range, µm | Porosity, % | Thickness, mm | Max. continuous media temperature (oxidizing gas) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Gr1, Ti ≥ 99.5 % (YS-MF-T) | by design | 50–80 | 0.10–1.50 | ≤ 280 °C |
Ti and Ni felts: standard 600 × 600 mm, up to 1000 × 1000 mm. In non-oxidizing service higher limits may apply; confirmed per project. Limits apply to the felt; assembled elements are limited by their seals and joints.
Reference values only; final specifications are confirmed for each custom order.

| Material (model) | Size | Thickness, mm | Rating range, µm | Max. media temperature (air) | Allowable ΔP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Gr1 (YS-PP-TI) | Ø 2–500 mm; up to 500 × 800 mm | 0.5–3 | 0.5–50 | 280 °C | by design |
Allowable ΔP depends on free span, thickness and support grid and is confirmed per design. Temperatures are limits of the porous material.
Reference values only; final specifications are confirmed for each custom order.
Cleaning and inspection
Confirm cleaning-agent compatibility with titanium and every joint, then compare inspection and flow or bubble-point results with the agreed baseline.
Discuss your configuration
Send a drawing, required quantity and known operating conditions. Final specifications are confirmed for each custom order.
