Sintered mesh discs for filter-dryers
A filter-dryer disc combines the filtering mesh laminate with a welded ring or frame and the supporting arrangement inside the vessel. Liquid passes through the disc while the retained solids form a cake; the complete process may include washing and drying stages defined by the equipment. The disc diameter, thickness and sealing face must match the vessel drawing. Mesh-layer selection, drainage support and cleaning access should be reviewed separately from the filtration grade. The reference tables provide a starting point for discussion, while the final pressure cycle, assembly limits and inspection requirements are confirmed for the actual filter-dryer.

Mesh discs for filtering, washing and drying
A supported sintered-mesh disc provides the filtration surface in a filter-dryer. One-piece and segmented arrangements serve different equipment and maintenance needs. Confirm the disc support, rim connection and sealing surface together with the machine drawing.

| Form (model) | Typical dimensions | Rating, µm | Media temperature range | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Filter-dryer / Nutsche disc (YS-FD) | Ø 100–3000 mm; 1.7 / 2.5 / 3.5 / 6 / 8 mm | 1–200 | −200…+480 °C (316L, air) | Multilayer mesh, welded flange ring |
Temperatures are limits of the filter medium. The limit of an assembled element is set by its seals, gaskets and joints (elastomer O-rings in 222/226 sockets are much lower) and is confirmed per order. Higher temperatures with other alloys on request.
